What is your random question?
Sunday Jun 21, 2020
Sunday Jun 21, 2020
The random question is is the 4th question in the podcast and I call it random because of the way it asked. It's about getting the speaker, the guest to give me the one question that I can ask them, something that will open up the conversation to a new area.
It's the question that gives them an opportunity to say what they like but there's a lot more to it than that, this short programme is my thinking around the random question and opportunity for you to come up with one of your own

Wednesday Jun 10, 2020
Wednesday Jun 10, 2020
My guest on the programme is Ross Macwilliam and he is the man who changed a million lives. Ross is the master, at the mindset and self-belief stuff, and well worth a listen.
Before I tell you about Ross and I'd like to ask if you are a regular podcast listener because I would appreciate some feedback. There is a listener survey on the home page at life passion and business.com.
It is multiple choice and will take less than 5 minutes any thoughts will be appreciated, now on with the show. My guest Ross Macwilliam is a speaker and author, his passion is around mindset, mental health and wellbeing.
Life all of my guests, the journey for Ross was not a straight line. Failing his exams at 16, was a setback but did not let that stop him. It was his desire to proved people wrong that drove him forward; he started what he calls an educational crusade with travel. Along the way, he worked in many roles including a fast food shop and managing a gym
In his early 30s with a masters degree in physical education became a high school teacher and college lecture.
A career change opened the opportunity for public speaking, and by 2012 that he leapt into full time presenting and writing. Following his educational experience and background, he delivers talks to both children and teachers, children's books on mindset followed. The big message for Ross is inner confidence and self-belief.
It has been his mission to spread and shared that message in schools and businesses throughout the world for the last eight years.
During that time he has worked in over 1500 schools and businesses. He and is a regular guest on TV and Radio programmes, talking about mental health wellbeing and stress management.
I hope you enjoy the conversation with Ross McWilliam.
If you would like to get in touch he is on Linkedin Facebook and Twitter. He can also be contacted at https://mindsetpro.co.uk/ and https://www.cuppajourney.com/ which is his children's book website.

LP&B 77 Richard Fletcher; The magic marketing sauce.
Wednesday Jun 03, 2020
Wednesday Jun 03, 2020
My guest on today's programme is Richard Fletcher; he is an online business coach who has found the magic marketing sauce. But like many people, it was a journey to get there with lots of different jobs. From a professional gambler to a dating coach.
What is interesting about Richard is that he worked out very early on in life that the success model we were all sold didn't work. He could not see the possibility of working or holding onto a simple job for so many years in order to retire well. It didn't fit there had to be a better solution he spent some time in the corporate world while working on the side hustle.
He did the usual journey through the multi-level marketing systems, drinking their Koolaid and he discovered online marketing however it took many years to make that work as it does for all of us.
The driving force of Richard's desire to make money without working too hard, is sheer laziness plus of a love of interacting with all types of people. Richard loves to spend time with his wife and cats.
This is a little bit of a fireside chat between two marketing guys, the story is good, and Richard has a lovely voice.
I hope you enjoy the conversation with Richard Fletcher
And that was life passion and business with Paul Harvey and my guest Richard Fletcher if you would like to reach out to Richard you can find him on Facebook that's his social channel. Also find that his website https://magicsaucemarketing.com/

LP&B 76 Sarah Griffiths Trauma and Abuse Therapists.
Wednesday May 27, 2020
Wednesday May 27, 2020
My guest on the programme today is Sarah Griffiths and she is a The trauma and abuse therapists.
We recorded this show just as the lockdown was taking shape across the world. Sarah at that point was stuck in Bali and trying to get back to Australia.
How is very grateful that Sarah found the time to speak to me given that she was in the middle of trying to negotiating a flight home.
Sarah was a successful businesswoman, seeming high functioning and from the outside successful. She had the great job, the husband the house and the children, it all looked fantastic, however, on the inside she was slowly unravelling. Sarah battled her extreme insecurities and lack of self-confidence for many years, she almost committed suicide.
It was that moment of despair that she found the strength to pull herself out of it and start the long journey towards recovery.
The seeds of her trauma started with childhood bullying and culminated at the age of 45, caught in a narcissistic marriage.
Our conversation is the story of her journey towards recovery.
Her journey led to her training as an RTT therapist, specialising in Trauma and Abuse, and developing her signature system and methodology to help people rapidly heal from the debilitating effects of past abuse.
And that was life passion and business with Paul Harvey and my guest Sarah Griffiths.
If you have been affected by trauma in your and would like to catch up with Sarah, you can find on Facebook and LinkedIn or at her website which is Sarahg.com
These links will be available at the website life passion and business.com beneath the podcast player as usual.

LP&B 75 Cheryl Jacobs Serial Entrepreneur
Wednesday May 20, 2020
Wednesday May 20, 2020
My guest on today's programme is the Serial Entrepreneur Cheryl Jacobs.
Looking at her life, you could say she is currently at the top of her game but then who said there was a top. We only reach a ceiling in life when we decide we have and cannot see Cheryl choosing to stop any time soon.
For Cheryl, the journey did not start like this, she was born and raised in Ohio, her father worked in a factory, and her mother was a secretary. She was one of three siblings growing up in an impoverished part of town. They played outside most of the time, no internet, no cell phones.
One never asks the age of a lady, but to be growing up before the internet does set a place in time.
At 18 she married her high school sweetheart and by 19 had two beautiful children but now living in poverty. Relying on charity for groceries and hitchhiking to travel to work or school.
Young love either works or it does not, the relationship with her husband did not last, and he became an ex-husband who was an abusive alcoholic.
She has always looked after her appearance. The big break came when a modelling agency discovered her and ended up with two agencies, one in New York City and another Los Angeles.
It was these contracts gave her the resources and security to move on in life. However, the universe was not done, her mother and grandmother died within months of each other.
Now on her own with a young family depression became that ever-present unwelcome friend. It was the words of her mother that pulled her through and kept her going.
"You're smart enough and strong enough to stand on your own two feet."
Somehow she found the resources and motivation to start her first business, a modelling and talent agency.
Today she runs ten successful businesses, which includes a children's party franchise, with 300 character costumes, 70+ employees and pre lockdown they were operating nearly 100 parties a month. Her tenth project is the Elight flying club a private jet hire and pilot service.
She is a firm believer in fitness health; not every grandmother looks like she does, as I said before there is and will be no stopping of Cheryl Jacobs
Her big mission is to help as many people get out of their way to be successful. She has written 5 books and speaks on the subject around the world.
I hope you enjoy the conversation with Cheryl Jacobs

LP&B Lisa Barry Mission Led Content
Wednesday May 06, 2020
Wednesday May 06, 2020
My guest on the show began her career as a teacher, and while she left it behind long ago, she still retains that awareness into her business. Lisa Barry Mission led content, is all about getting business owners to align with their mission and values and bring it to the world through the marketing of their business.
One week ago today, Lisa was one of the speakers at our virtual event Living beyond the change. It exceeded my expectations on many levels. But the biggest win for me was the clarity I have discovered for this podcast.
All of the speakers at the event had been on a journey. They overcame an obstacle and out the other side, richer for the experience. We all have that capacity and need to move through the fear and seize the opportunities the universe provides
There will be more events, but in the meantime, it will be the role of Life Passion and Business to spread the stories of people as role models for what is possible.
Lisa Barry Mission Led Content
Lisa was never motivated by money and wanted a life that had value and a role where she helped people. She went to Uni and got a degree in teaching, she trained as a coach and found work supporting young people to raise their aspirations and find their soul purpose.
The work was good, but life itself was a struggle, especially with a mortgage and growing family.
It was a redundancy that pushed her to discover a talent for writing, that lead on to discoveries in marketing and business.
Like most stories, it is not a line straight to success. But successful, it was to the point where last year Lisa's husband left his job to work with her business. The plan for 2020 was the family to start a travel adventure throughout Europe.
We recorded this show in the middle of March before a little matter of a pandemic was changing the plans.
Because Lisa was one of our speakers, it seemed logical to get this show out because it coincides with a free challenge that may be of interest to you.
Lisa is running a free five-day challenge to help people produce social media content that is in line with mission and values. It is starting on Sunday, 10th May. It is open to all, and I know it will be worth your time.
Full details are at the end of the show.
I hope you enjoy the conversation with Lisa Barry.
As mentioned there was a 5 day challenge that is about to start on Sunday the 10th
If you'd like to follow it up very simple go Lisa Barry Online to the Facebook page and there will be a button somewhere.

The Launch of Living Beyond the Change
Sunday Apr 19, 2020
Sunday Apr 19, 2020
We are living in an unusual time. My mind has been thinking about what that means for us as we go forward. Over the last two years at Life Passion and Business I have been talking to some amazing people that have amazing lives, having come through all sorts of adversity and situations.
This has to be the first time in history outside of war that we are all having to deal with the same thing at the same time. When this is over we will have to go back and pick up the pieces of our lives. It has been in my mind for a while to do a virtual event and this situation has brought the timetable forward quickly.
I think we will need help and support to get us through the next few months, because the life that we're going to return to will be very different from the life we left behind.Living Beyond The Change is 3 days with some of the best speakers in the field of Money, Mindset, Heath and Business. These are people that will help your go forward and thrive in the new world that will appear post COVID19

LP&B 71 Gareth Riddy Author, Healer and Potty mouth
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
My guess on the show describes himself as an Author Healer and Potty mouth. Gareth Riddy is built like a bodybuilder. He has been a doorman, a mixed martial artist and still enjoys a bit of Brazilian jujitsu.
Gareth has broken the mould for me, as before I met him, my stereotypical vision of a male healer would have involved a beard and perhaps sandals.
I first became aware of Gareth a while back when he launched his book.
How to Undo the Shit the Modern World Does to Us
We connected through social media, how else! And finally, I heard his story when we were in a coaching group together. Gareth is a cancer survivor, and his journey to becoming healer started with himself. Now as said he is a self-confessed potty mouth. He does tend to use colourful language although he was quite well behaved on the podcast.
His speciality is getting people out of chronic pain, resolving the issues, and returning peoples cognitive functions.
"I do it all with love & rude words."
His patients call him a magician, as he does his magic, and they get to be people again. As you will hear on the show his goal in life is to give as many people as possible, the tools they need to thrive in the modern world, without being dragged down by the ever-increasing demands.
His work often starts when a client says. "The Doctors say there is nothing they can do."
Gareth is a big softy and one of the all-round good guys. I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.

LP&B 67 Yvette Owo Business Fun and Fulfilment
Wednesday Dec 18, 2019
Wednesday Dec 18, 2019
Yvette Owo Business Fun and Fulfilment
What was life like for you growing up?
In conversation with my guest this week, I reminded of my teenage years.
My parents came from simple beginnings. My mother was from the East End of London. For my American friends that would have been a very impoverished area during the war, it was heavily bombed.
My grandfather was a piano tuner but did many things, not all of them legal.
My father was born in Leeds in the midlands of the UK, and his father was a Barber. Both of my parents did not understand the commercial world. Dad did a technical job for local government and Mum did a range of jobs around childcare. Commercialism was neither something important or relevant.
I can remember buying a bicycle from one of mothers friends. It was not right a lousy choice, far too big. So I looked to sell it just weeks after I had bought it. But I wasn't allowed to sell it for any more than I had paid for it.
At the time, I was pissed about it, but they were adamant that it was not fair on the family from whom I had bought it. It's funny how these memories get triggered. I forgot about that story, and it must have been more than 40 years ago.
Yvette Owo is my guest on today's programme had no such resistance to commercialism in her family. When she was ten years old during her summer break, she started five businesses. She was creating ideas and things that she could sell. Yes, she did have a lemonade stand, but she found the return investment wasn't good enough.
What is fascinating about Yvette Owo is that she is goal-oriented, setting goals works for her. She is diligent in her process and creating clear plans to achieves them.
Business for her is a pleasure, so while working fulltime, she built a brand around personal finance and was looking to go full time when disaster struck. She was hit by a car and life changed.
After getting hit by a car, she developed a debilitating disease; she learned the hard way the value of financial & time freedom.
This is her story

LP&B 66 Dominica Roszko From Marketing to Naturopath
Wednesday Nov 20, 2019
Wednesday Nov 20, 2019
Life is always about stories; that is a foundation of this podcast; it was my desire to discover more about other peoples lives that lead me here.
Stories are the core of everything when you consider how much of your life is set around a narrative. Think of the news that is all about people or events in the world. When we catch up with friends, it is all about what is going in their life.
Look at politics that is people looking to lead through the narrative of a positive shared vision.
So why are stories so important to us?
In the blockbuster movies, it is the character progression that keeps it interesting. There is the mission or quest with the potential for success and the failure ever-present.
Now that is a subject for a podcast short because we are all on the mission. Onwards to my guest.
Dominica Roszko
My guest on today's programme was born in Poland and the seeds to her journey were planted when she was very young. Her grandma was a natural herbalist she had a big store cupboard full of things that would help or sooth pain or illness. The story is interesting as you will see how it travels in a circle as Dominica return to her routes.
Dominica came from an entrepreneurial family. it was natural for her to follow that career path.
It was a business journey that ended with a successful marketing business, but it nearly killed her — suffering from burnout and severe adrenal fatigue. She overcame this chronic illness with a vegan diet.
Today fully recovered and joins me on the programme as a qualified nutritionist, herbalist and vegan chef.
She's been running a plant-based nutrition practice for 5 years, where she works mainly with people interested in reducing their meat and dairy consumption.
Dominica is sharing her experience through regular workshops, courses and talks in the UK and Europe, where she teaches nutrition, herbal medicine and plant-based cooking and food preparation to the general public, chefs, restaurant managers and other companies.
All of that energy and passion that when into marketing other peoples projects, is now focused on her business and her passion.
She is an author and regular contributor to newspapers, magazines, online publications.
I hope you enjoy the conversation with Dominica Roszko

LP&B 64 Ebonie Allard The Misfit and Maven
Saturday Sep 07, 2019
Saturday Sep 07, 2019
On the show today is Ebonie Allard, it was lively because Ebonie is a misfit and a Maven with an amazing life story. Before she was 7 she has lived is a house truck on a commune, she went to a Steiner school. She is a podcast host, artists and a business coach.
her big mission is to help 100,000 Misfits know that they belong, live fully rounded, three-dimensional lives that are successful, FUN and self-governed.
This brings me nicely to that topic of self-development. The one clear message that comes through all of my guests is the drive for progression. This can come from two directions for some it will be the maintenance of what is, getting comfortable and starting to settle. This was me..
The other side is the madness of overwhelm, where a monster is created and the head can take no more. This was Ebonie
Both directions lead to dissatisfaction with life and a loss of purpose. It is my belief that we end up in these places because we are not taught how to avoid them.
Earlier this year I started with a project called Change Your World Every Day. The main feature of the project is daily coaching delivered at 7 am every weekday morning. Staring the day with positive input is a powerful anchor, the group is encouraged to contribute, give feedback and hold each other accountable.
It has been amazing to watch the participants grow and support others in their growth. If you are looking for something to support your journey I urge you to find something with daily support it makes such a difference.
On the subject of Change Your Worlds the normal price is £29.99 month but using the link below will get you 3 months for the price of 2. Check it out here and use the link below to claim the deal.
As you may have guessed from my description of Ebonie is a woman who has always moved fast and taken risks. She has lived in France, New Zealand Ireland and in various location in the UK, thought out all of these she has never had a proper job.
From selling homemade cards when she was 14, working in the film industry, starting one of the first virtual assistant companies to her current work as a coach, author and artist - she’s experienced huge successes, massive failures & everything in between. She's been self-employed, a freelancer, a business owner and an entrepreneur & shares that growth isn't linear.
For Ebonie, it is all about shifting consciousness so that we wake up and see life as it is. I hope you enjoy the conversation with Ebonie Allard.

LP&B 63 Jennifer Herndon:- From Death Row to Entrepreneurship
Tuesday Aug 13, 2019
Tuesday Aug 13, 2019
My guest on the programme today is Jennifer Herndon, who went from a death-row attorney to Entrepreneur. Her career started straight from law school, as a criminal defence lawyer. She had a successful career for over 25 years, a significant part of that was defending people on death row.
Jennifer has always been passionate about helping people. In the legal world that was people who are termed indigent. A simple word that seems so lovely and yet it covers its true meaning. Which is people who are poor, destitute, penniless, or impoverished, the legal profession likes to sanitise words and the people in society that might be called less desirable.
These people cannot help themselves, and Jenniffer was there to support them, particularly those facing the ultimate penalty. She passionately believes the death penalty is morally wrong, and she fought for her clients for many years.
Her highest satisfaction, from her time as a defence lawyer, was being instrumental in a change of US law, how does it get better than that?
The legal career was about changing life and death decisions, and sadly, for many of her clients, those cards were not in their favour. Jennifer, she did not win those arguments; you will hear some of that story.
It is the kind of work that takes its toll, and while Jennifer never lost the passion for representing people. She began to feel part of the system, part of the process of execution. She was getting burnt out and looking to change. It came in that she as fired.
She moved out of the law into online marketing. Like all of us, she fell into all of the traps before she found her way.
We discuss the easy button as if it exists?
How to ride the storm
The show is her journey out of the laws and into a new life. Jennifer is a single mother of one and five adopted children some with unique needs, and she has created a life that works for and her family
Jennifer's gift is helping people the challenge was making it pay, and this is her story.

LP&B 62 Arthie Moore African Principles of Leadership
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
I was very excited this week to have on the show Arthie Moore. She is a facilitator and leadership coach. But as with all of my guests she is so much more. I met Artie when she was the lead coach in a daily coaching group. ( change your World every day) She was delivering 30minute slots daily for 2 weeks.
She covered her take on life and communication techniques. It was clear to me in these daily live broadcasts that she has a passion and commitment to leadership skills and the empowerment of all.
I should say Arthie lives in South Africa and of Indian descent and while she has always faced issues of race, she has never let it fazes her. She can walk into any situation and expect the best and manage the room and achieve it. You cannot help but like her.
What was fascinating about this conversation is we explored how she grew up in a tight race-driven society. You did not cross the boundary of colour. This was in South Africa in the apartheid years.
The change happened when Nelson Mandella was elected president and Arthie turned 18. She was one of the first of a generation that went to a mixed-race University.
This podcast is not about race and diversity. It is about those experiences, the crucible that turned Arthie into the powerhouse that she is.
As the director of 2 international companies, she keynotes on communication and Motivational Speaker. She is an International Facilitator of the Celebrating Humanity Programmes, on Transformational Teambuilding, Diversity Training, Leadership Training and Team Conflict Resolution Strategies.
She has delivered these programmes across Africa, South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, the wider worlds USA, London and Hong Kong.
As you will hear on the show, she has a clarity of purpose, that is about inspiration and empowerment. It is about positively impacting the World, using the African principles of Leadership.
The most amazing part for me is that she started her journey at just 19 years old.
I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did
